Coded Characters | Jill Scotts work from 1975 to 2002 focuses on body politics and ideology with particular influence from those places she has lived
West Coast | The west coast of America, the east coast of Australia and middle Europe. She started her professional artistic career in San Francisco as a conceptual performance artist who was interested in analogue technology.
Down Under | In 1982 she returned to Australia to focus on teaching and video art and to further her knowledge in digital technology and mythology.
Europe | In 1992 she moved to Germany to teach and build new interactive art installations about ideology, ethnology and gender and in 2002 to Switzerland. This Archive presents only a sample of some of these works. Please see CV for other works.
